Mumbai. In the funeral of singer Zubin Garg, the entire Assam was seen united. Everyone bid farewell to the great singer with a heavy heart. Zubin died during scuba diving in Singapore on 19 September. He was 52 years old. Jubin was called the voice of Assam. Jubin was cremated in Sonapur, Assam. Thousands of his fans had arrived to get his last glimpse. His fans put a long line for hours to give a final farewell. During the final farewell, Papon placed Assamese Gamcha and cap on the coffin of Zubin and he appeared very emotional.

The body of Zubin Garg was wrapped in a traditional Assamese Gamosa and kept in a glass coffin. After traveling from all over Assam, his fans came and paid tribute to the line for hours. There was an atmosphere of deep sentiment in the stadium. The coffin also had his family and four pet dogs.
