Murika Biswas has created history in Cannes. The filmmaker has won the Cons Award for his document-series. The Resurrection Quest received the prestigious Gold Dolphin Award.
New Delhi. ‘S Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. It has a premiere of the best films around the world and the most selected films are honored here which can make anyone stand up. Be it Cannes Film Festival or any Film Festival, their most unique thing is that they do not see language or country or caste or anything else, they simply mean good content.
Indian documentary manufacturer Mayurika Biswas while talking about his journey to make this documentary said that he made up his mind to follow the drama in Kenya. There scientists were trying to save the northern white rhinoceros from disappearing forever. The original surrogate rhinoceros died in the flood, and uniform – but different – the southern white rhinoceros was conception by the German team, which was originally like taking science to unknown areas.
DQ-Series won the Gold Dolphin Award
Mumbai director’s document- The Resurrection Quest, which follows animals cloning, gene editing, IVF technology and even Chinese-pet dog’s cloning efforts, won the prestigious Gold Dolphin (Science, Technology, Innovation related to the prestigious Gold Dolphin (Science, Technology, Innovation) in the 16th Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards held last week.
Mayurika Biswas who was also a journalist and is now a filmmaker. Storytellor has been working in films for a decade, Biswas found herself contacting scientific teams who were engaged in various scientific efforts to bring back the animals standing on the verge of extinction, such as from Woolie Mammath to Dodo. The IVF of the rhinoceros was one of the many interesting stories imprisoned in a four -part series.
