Earlier, Shashank had made ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ with Varun, which was released in the year 2017. The film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ to be released in theaters on October 2 is the third film with Shashank and Varun. Let me tell you, the film was named ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ i.e. Varun with the film with which Shashank made her debut as a director in Bollywood. These two films ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ proved to be successful at the box office and now it seems that their third film ‘Tulsi Kumari’ is also going to win the hearts of the audience.
Talking about acting, Varun Dhawan has returned to his best form as ‘Sunny’. Their energy, comic timing and dance moves are excellent. This is one of the best performance of his career, which establishes him as a successful lead actor. At the same time, if you talk about Jahnavi Kapoor, she creates a great balance between her innocence and mischief. His chemistry with Varun is the biggest strength of the film, which seems absolutely fresh. Also, Sanya, Rohit and Manish Paul are strong in their roles. Manish Paul’s comic Tadka lightens the atmosphere of the film.
Now talk about the music of the film, the music album of the film has already become a chartbuster. Track masses like ‘Bijuria’ and ‘Panwadi’ have appeals and Ganesh Acharya’s choreography has a desi swag. Shashank Khaitan has made songs part of the story with grand visuals and accurate placements. Shashank Khaitan and Ishita Moitra have dialogues, locally, trendy and entertaining. Comedy is tremendous, but not slut. The biggest win of the film is that it presents a correct mixture of humor and emotional depth.
Now talk about the film’s pre-climax section is a bit slow. This part applies a little brake at the high speed of the film. Crisper Editing could make it a non-stop experience. Because of this, the second half can make you feel a little bored. Overall, ‘Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari’ is an entertaining and family entertainer. You can watch this film due to Varun-Jahnavi pair, superhit music and efficient direction of Shashank Khaitan. My behalf from me to 3.5 out of 5 stars.
