Renuka Swamy Murder Case: 24 जुलाई तक टली एक्टर दर्शन की जमानत पर सुनवाई

New Delhi. A big news has come out about the bail of Kannada actor Darshan. The Supreme Court deferred the hearing on the petition filed against the bail given to Kannada actor Darshan till 24 July. This hearing became more important when the Supreme Court questioned the Karnataka High Court’s decision to grant bail. Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan’s bench postponed the hearing, because Darshan’s lawyer Siddharth Dave said that senior advocate Kapil Sibal, who was about to argue in this case, is busy in another hearing.

The Karnataka government has demanded darshan and cancellation of bail of other accused. Senior lawyers Siddharth Luthra and Anil C. are presenting their side from the government. Darshan, his colleague Pavitra Gowda and 15 others were arrested on 11 June 2024 for the kidnapping and murder of Renuka Swamy, a fan of Chitradurga. According to the police, Renuka had allegedly sent abusive and obscene messages to Pavitra, as he was angry about Pavitra’s relationship with Darshan despite his wife Vijayalakshmi.

Both the actor’s wife and Pavitra were also entangled with each other on social media, due to which the fans of Darshan were divided into two groups. Renuka Swami supported Vijayalakshmi; He criticized Pavitra, after which he was murdered. Darshan is busy shooting for his upcoming film Devil and is currently in Thailand. On 28 February, the Karnataka High Court allowed him to travel across the country, while earlier he was limited to Bengaluru.
