The animated adventure comedy film ‘Padington in Peru’ has been released in India today (18 April 2025), while it was released in UK in November last year. At the same time, the film was released in February 2025 in France and US. This is a sequel to the 2014 film ‘Padington’, which took 10 years to make the makers. In the first part, where ‘Padington’ was lost in the city, its sequel has Padington’s aunt Lucy Missing and Padington goes out in Peru jungles to find his aunt. This is a very exciting film. So let’s tell you about the film.

Let me tell you, Padington is an animated bear, who lived in the forest with his bear aunt Lucy in the first part, but due to the devastation caused by the storm, Lucy asks him to go to the city, where Padington is lost. There, a family (brown family) keeps him with him and he gets well with humans. The film also stars Huga Bonville (Henry Brown), Emily Mortimer (Mary Brown), Julie Wallers (Mrs. Bird). At the same time, the story of the second part moves forward. In the film, the brown family is seen traveling in the forest of Peru to find Padington’s aunt Lucy.

Actually, Padington receives a letter from the house of retired bears in Peru, in which she is told that the aunt Lucy is very much missing her and behaving strangely, so Padington and Brown decide to go to Peru to meet her. On reaching there, Brown shows Reverend Mother that only his glasses and their bracelets have gone missing in the aunt Lucy forest. Padington finds a map in the cabin of aunt Lucy which shows that they should start their search from a place called Rumi Rock.

Mrs. Bird and Reverend Mother stops there and Reverend Mother Mizes gives Brown a good luck pendant. The brown thinks of hiring a boat to travel on the banks of river, where he meets Riverboat captain Hunter Cabot and his daughter Jeena. Hunter looks at the bracelet of Padington and tells the family about the lost city of El Dorado, a mythological place that is said to have said that it has gold offered by the ancient Peruvians to the souls of the forest.

In search of El Dorado, passengers usually begin their search from Rumi Rock, but do not return alive. The story of the film is going to be very much liked by the children. Also, all the actors in the film have done tremendous acting. It can hardly know how difficult it can be to act with an animated bear. This film has been shot in more than one location. If you want to show children a film, then ‘Padington in Peru’ is the best option. I have 3 stars from my side.
