It has crossed the opening day collection of this year’s blockbuster films ‘Saira’ (₹ 22 crore), ‘Sikander’ (₹ 26 crore), and Chhava (₹ 31 crore).
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ broke Rajinikanth’s record of ‘Kuli’
Not only this, it has now crossed the opening day collection of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kuli’ (₹ 65 crore). This earnings of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ have been estimated till 10 pm. But due to the national holiday, the film got a good benefit.
Trade analysts expected less collection
