Controversy over the film
Recently, an executive producer of Kannappa lodged a complaint at the Film Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad, alleging the theft of a hard disk with VFX scenes of the film. The manufacturers said in a statement, “Recently reliable intelligence information has been revealed that the hard disk -stealing person is planning to leak more than 90 minutes of unpublished footage online in a desperate attempt to derail Kannappa.”
