After Reigns defeated Logan Paul at the Crown Jewel, The Bloodline opened the following episode of SmackDown, celebrating their recent dominance and victories. But they were interrupted by The brawling-brutes and Sheamus, who made his return after the attack of Bloodline weeks earlier. A brawl broke out, but the Brutes were outnumbered—until drew mcIntyre rushed in to even the odds and took the fight to The Bloodline. This chaos led to their WarGames match at Survivor Series. On the november 18 episode of SmackDown, tensions escalated even further when Kevin Owens returned, attacking The Bloodline, and was revealed as the fifth member of the Brutes’ team. In their main event, Owens performed a pop-up powerbomb and a stunner on Reigns, but Zayn stopped the referee from counting the three. A conflicted Zayn then performed a low blow on owens. He then allowed Jey to perform the uuso splash on Owens, to win the match for The Bloodline.
