Rajkumar Santoshi, director of superhit films, made a film in the year 1998, China Gate. Even though it was not a big hit at the box office. But the villain of this film managed to leave a deep impression. In this film, Zakira was played by actor Mukesh Tiwari.

Seeing his role, people remembered Sholay’s Gabbar. It has been 27 years since the film was released. But Zakira’s dialogues still remember people. There were many big stars in this film. But Mukesh Tiwari’s strong acting caught everyone’s attention. Despite being new, he had settled.

This was Mukesh Tiwari’s first film. But he worked hard for this role. In the film, he became a dangerous gangster living in a mountainous area. He did not bathe for about 50 days to make his role real.

It is said that he did this to show his character more scary. He used to perform perfumes to avoid the smell of breath. During the shooting, many times the vultures and crows used to hover around them.

Once during the shooting, his horse slipped while sitting on the horse and Mukesh Tiwari was injured. But he did not stop shooting. In this film, he was accompanied by big actors like Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, Amrish Puri and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Still Mukesh Tiwari looked different from his role.

After this, in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal series, he played the role of ‘Karva Bhai’. With this role, he once again came into the discussion. But despite this, he did not get any work for 2 years.

Mukesh Tiwari has studied at the National School of Drama (NSD). He has studied with artists like Ashutosh Rana, Yashpal Sharma and Kumud Mishra. After passing from NSD, he married his girlfriend Violet Nazir. This marriage took place on 20 June 1995.

Now they have been married for 34 years. They also have a son. However, Mukesh Tiwari never appears on social media with his wife or son. Apart from Hindi films, he has also worked in Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Kannada films.
