Flower Business: Ramesh Kumar started the family’s expenses by starting a flower business in a low budget. Their sales in Sawan increase and the entire goods are sold by noon. They also sell dhatura, basil leaves with flowers.
Families are running by selling flowers on the roadside
Ramesh Kumar has been working to sell flowers on the roadside at Devkinandan Chowk in Bilaspur for the last several years. They also sell materials like dhatura, vine leaves, dubi and basil leaves with flowers of worship like Mandar, Lotus, Marigold.
Ramesh buys flowers from the ponds of the village and sells five rupees on the roadside. Different flowers have different prices. They bring half the flowers from the village and buy half from the city market.
Earning from 500 to 1400 rupees
Their sales increases in the month of Sawan. By purchasing ₹ 500 daily, their earnings from ₹ 1200 to ₹ 1400. The entire belongings are sold by noon.
Business can start in low budget
Ramesh says that whoever wants to start this work, he can start a flower business in a low budget. There is a need to prepare and sell it in the roadside or market.
