In the middle of the shoot, Big B got hurt so badly that he had died. However, after the long treatment, he recovered and returned to the film set in a strong manner. The actor’s co-star Zeenat Aman has shared the story related to the film ‘Coolie’ in the recent post.

Zeenat Aman shared the story behind his superhit song in the sea with Amitabh Bachchan while sharing the throbac story on Instagram. He recalled his chemistry and enthusiastic atmosphere on the set with Big B, as it was his first shoot after Bachchan recovered from the deadly injury on the set of ‘Coolie’ in 1982.

She writes, ‘Uff… I will be honest. This is a slightly unnecessary post that has come due to heat. This season, I mean, is very hot! However, I will not hesitate to say that Amitabh Bachchan and I looked very hot even while romancing those salty songs’.

Song was memorable for Zeenat Aman

Losing the memories of the 80s, when Goa was less crowded, he mentioned the details of the shooting. Zeenat Aman says, ‘Shooting of director-producer Ramesh Bahl’s call was fun. Its brilliant background, the best starcast, and attractive songs pulled me towards the script. Now in the early 80s, Goa was quiet and ideal. Hence the ‘seas of the sea’ was shot on an empty beach, and it was an easy-old case. ‘

She says, ‘At least for me! I did not have to do any lip-skin, nor had to learn any special choreography. That’s all the director had to say- look beautiful! So I was in a revolving and sizzling white costume. I was just flowing in the waves and Big B was dancing around me ‘.

She says that there was only one hurdle in the brilliant performance in the film that she could not swim. She writes, ‘My otherwise easy performance was interrupted by a small thing – I can’t swim! I was very nervous for those shots and I had to swallow a lot of sea water. Despite being left with some falling in the waves and left with sand in uncomfortable places, I felt that I did a reliable job of being a mermaid.
