The hearing on the ban on Vijay Raj’s film ‘Udaipur files’ has started. The petition is being heard by Chief Justice DK Upadhyay and Justice Tushar Rao Gadela.

New DelhiThe hearing on the ban on Vijay Raj’s film ‘Udaipur files’ has started. Earlier, hearing was being held on Wednesday, 30 July. Senior advocate Maneka Guruswami appeared on behalf of the accused petitioner. There itself. Senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia appeared towards the filmmaker. On behalf of senior advocate Kapil Sibal, the lawyer was requested to hear the hearing on August 1 at 2 pm.

Directed by directors Bharat S Srinat and Jayant Sinha, the petition on the ban of this film is being heard by Chief Justice DK Upadhyay and Justice Tushar Rao Gadela. In the petition, the decision of the committee of the Center has been challenged. The committee had allowed the release of the film with some cuts. Mohammad Javed, president and accused of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, has filed a petition to stop the film.

Hearing in high court continues

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal appeared on behalf of Maulana Arshad Madni, president of petitioner Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. Senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia appeared on behalf of the filmmaker. ASG said that- on the last date, I had to answer some things, this is a legal question, which will have to be answered legally only. Please see Section 5B, this law should be seen overall and intervened in a harmonious manner. ASG Chetan Sharma appeared from CBFC.

ASG further said that – legal prior concept, I have to satisfy it. On this, the Delhi High Court said that – we have understood your arguments. Section 5B (2) gives CG the right to do any work and the decision of Section 6 (2) is necessary and if it is not notified, it will be assumed that their revision petition has been rejected. The Delhi High Court said that there are some questions again, see Section 5 (2). ASG said that – I had missed something that day. I missed out on reading two decisions, the first is the case of Nachiketa, which is based on a fair hearing.
