‘कालीधर लापता’ के सेट पर अभिषेक बच्चन ने रखा ‘गुड़िया’ का ख्याल, एक्ट्रेस ने बताया अनुभव – ‘ऐसा बहुत कम…’

New Delhi. Actress Priya Yadav is known for her strong acting in ‘The Railway Main’. These days she is winning heart in the role of doll in ‘Kalidhar Lapata’. This film of Abhishek Bachchan is getting stream on G5. Recently, Priya Yadav talked about preparing for this role and sharing the screen with Abhishek Bachchan.

Priya says about her character in an interview to News18 Shosha, ‘Doll is completely different from me. He is very calm and shy. Never got out of her village before marriage. To prepare for this character, I had to leave everything on which I depend as an actress, my energy, my expression and instead I had to adopt the stagnation.

Priya saw and understood the women of small towns closely and understood to get into the role. She told, ‘She speaks less, says a lot with her eyes and her gesture reflects the silence and strength of years. This became the biggest teacher for me. The challenge was not to do much, the real challenge was to learn to reduce and just be like that.

Apart from this, Priya also told her experience of working with Abhishek Bachchan. He said, ‘Abhishek sir behaved with great warmth and respect from the beginning. He ensured that I feel fully comfortable on the set and did every scene, no matter how small it is, did it honestly. There was a scene, in which my close up was being taken and even though he was not in the frame, he stayed there so that he could give me a curse.

He further said, ‘This is very rare. He later called me himself and asked me if I want to take another tech. He just wanted to ensure that I am satisfied or not. Let us know that ‘Kalidhar missing’ is the story of a person who is suffering from Alzheimer’s and in such a situation the householders leave him in Kumbh Mela.
