Yash Chopra further said, “Earlier it was not so open, but today it is. No one was careful earlier. It is a rumor with which we have grown up, but no one has ever confirmed it.” When this interview of BBC went on air, Amitabh was angry with Yash Chopra about these revelations.

However, the BBC later said that he does not confirm Yash Chopra’s statement. Amitabh Bachchan or none of his representatives gave him clarification on it. Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s love triangle remains doubt even today.
