Binita Chetry Britain’s Got Talent 2025: At the age of just 9, Binita Chhetri of Assam showed what big artists dream. By finishing third in the finale of Britain’s famous talent show Britain’s Got Talent 2025, Binita not only raised India’s head, but also illuminated the name of Assam on the international stage.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a video of Binita on his X (East Twitter) handle and wrote, Dancing Her Way To Glory… Congratulations to Binita Chhetri on finishing third in Britain Got Talent. His performance won the hearts of everyone from Brahmaputra to Themes.

On May 31, when Binita’s name was announced as second runner-up at the Finale in Britain, the entire stadium was filled with applause. When he was asked the experience on the stage, he said innocently- I am very happy and proud of myself. This is the best experience of my life.

Travel from village to global stage

Binita, a resident of Bokjan in Karbi Anglong district, had told during the audition that she wants to win the show and buy a ‘Pink Princess House’. She became the first Indian contestant to reach the finale of this famous reality show.

Binita’s father, Amar Chhetri- who runs a poultry farm and is also the District Vice President of All Assam Gurkha Students Union- first got her dance training in Guwahati and then Jaipur. His tireless efforts helped Binita achieve this height.
