At the last moment, Dilip Kumar also left him. After this, the actress had a very painful end. Recently, Mumtaz told that while Madhubala was taking her last breath, he had advised him to love, but do not drown completely in it.
Dilip Kumar knew that the life of Madhubala, who was struggling with the disease, has not left much now, yet he decided to leave the actress. Mumtaz said that she does not blame Dilip Kumar for this at all. In an interview to the filmbet, Mumtaz said, ‘Poor Madhubala was very ill and I do not blame Yusuf Sahab (Dilip Kumar). She was dying and there was nothing that she could do. She was very ill and there was no real cure for her heart disease at that time.
Madhubala gave this special advice to Mumtaz
When she was asked if Madhubala had given her any advice that she remembers till date, Mumtaz said, ‘I was very young, but I remember that she told me that the worst thing in life is, it is love. Do not love anyone. Do it, but do not do so much that become restless.
Why did Dilip Kumar not marry Madhubala?
Earlier, in an interview with Vicky Lalwani, Mumtaz had told that Dilip Kumar had left Madhubala because she could not produce children due to ill. He said, ‘Madhubala did not break the relationship with Dilip Kumar. They broke the relationship, because Madhubala could not become a mother. Instead, he married Saira Bano, who is a very good person. He took care of Dilip Saheb very well till his last breath. She was her fan initially. There was a huge distance between them, but when you truly love someone, these things do not matter.
Madhubal’s condition had become very bad
Dilip Kumar married Saira Bano and after some time he received a call from Madhubala, in which he expressed his desire to meet him. After this, Dilip Kumar met Madhubala but by then the condition of the actress was very bad due to illness. In his autobiography, Dilip Kumar praised Saira that he allowed her to meet Madhubala.
Madhubala said this to Dilip Kumar
He wrote, ‘When I went to Madhu’s house, I was very sad to see him. She looked very weak and her body had become very weak. The fading tone of his face was not only his illness, but was also telling that his brilliant and bubbly smile was now very difficult. She was happy to see me and said that our princess has got her princess, I am very happy.
