Angelo Mathews to Retire from Tests after First Game Against Bangladesh

Veteran Sri Lankan all-rounder angelo mathews on Friday announced that the first test against bangladesh next month will be “Grateful heart and unforgettable memorys.” The 37-year-old will, however, continue to play white-ball cricket for his country. He has a Fairly Good Average of 44.62 and has so far smashed 16 hours and 45 centuries with a 200 not out being the best of his lengthy career. He also has 34 wickets to his credit.

Mathews, who was Sri Lanka’s all-format captain from 2013 to 2017 to 2017, Said he considered playing the format the format the highest honor.
