He told, ‘We got down from the steep slope of Pali Hill. We returned to their bungalow. Taking several turns, our car reached the bungalow. Bimal Mitra was surprised to see the view. Remembering him, he said, ‘He had fallen on the ground, where the script writer was once a script writer guest. The room where the Guru used to sleep was now turned into debris. Bimal Mitra could not understand why Guru Dutt took steps? He asked, ‘But what is the real reason for breaking the bungalow? Guru Dutt whispered and replied, ‘Because of the Gita. Due to lack of home, the problem of being home is more terrible. Guru Dutt’s family went to an apartment next to Dilip Kumar’s bungalow. He realized that their relationship could not be corrected. He started living alone in Arc Royal Apartments on Peder Road, Central Bombay. Geeta and her children moved to a house near Mehboob Studio. Guru Dutt died at the age of 39.
