New Delhi. Actress Sai Dhanshika is in the headlines these days and there is a special reason behind it. She is going to get married. Recently, there were reports in the media that by the end of this year, she is going to tie the knot with Tamil actor Vishal. During the audio launch of Dhanshika’s upcoming film ‘Yogi Da’, where Vishal was one of the chief guests, both confirmed the news. Speaking to the media on the occasion of the trailer launch, Sai Dhanshika said, ‘However, there is nothing to hide, what we believe in the media). We have decided to get married on August 29.

Both are together for 15 years

The actress said, ‘I have known Vishal for 15 years. Wherever we met, he always gave full respect to each other. Whenever I had any problem, he always raised his voice for me. Whenever there was any problem, they came to my house. We recently started talking to each other and then this (love) rose. Then he too and I also realized this. We accepted it by mutual consent. We realized that it would lead to marriage. So why wait? It is only one thing. I want him to be happy. After this, he turned to Vishal present on the stage and said, ‘I love you.’

Who is Sai Dhanshika?

Sai Dhanshika was born on 20 November 1989 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He is a major face of the South Indian film industry. He started his acting career in 2006 with Tamil film Manathodu Mazhayakalam, credited as Marina. In this film, he worked with Shyam, Nitya Das and Jayasuriya. The same year, Dhanshika also acted in two more Tamil films, Marananthen Meimranthen and Thirudi.

Work with Ravi Mohan

Three years later, he stepped into Kannada films with Kempa, in which he worked in the name of Thanushika. But his role in the 2009 film Pournmai gave him a wide recognition. It was an action-adventure film, in which Ravi Mohan played the lead role. The film was directed by Janathan and it tells the story of a tribal forest guard named Dhuruvan, who fights for the welfare of his community.

Rajinikanth’s daughter came to see screen

Dhanshika acted in many Tamil films, such as Manza Velu, Nil Gawani Selathe, Aravan, Pardeshi and Thiranthidu lead. In 2016, he starred in the film Kabali with South superstar Rajinikanth, in which he played his daughter. Radhika Apte, Kishore, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyasan, John Vijay and others were also seen in this Tamil action drama.

Kannada- Work in Malayalam cinema after Tamil

His career did not stop here. Sai Dhanshika also stepped into Malayalam cinema in 2017, in which she acted with Dulkar Salman in a bilingual film Solo. Later, he entered Telugu cinema with Shikru. He was last seen in the 2024 Telugu -language Crime Action Drama Film, Dakshina, directed by Tulsi Ram Osho. The film featured Rishav Basu, Sneha Singh, Ankita Muller, Hima Selja, Magna Chaudhary, Karuna and Naveen.
