Kamal Haasan issued his statement regarding this matter. In the statement released, he said, ‘Art can wait, India comes first. In view of the stressful situation on the country’s borders and the high alert situation of the security agencies, we have postponed the audio launch of the film ‘Thug Life’.

Our soldiers are on boundaries
The actor further said, ‘When our soldiers are on the boundaries to protect the country and are bravely holding the front, then this time is not of celebration, but to show calm solidarity. The situation which is currently in the country, especially on the border, it will not be appropriate to do film programs in it. The new date will be fixed later when the situation will be fine.

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thug Life’ has been directed by Mani Ratnam. The film will feature stars like Trisha Krishnan, Silambasan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Jujhi George, Abhiram, Nasar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Vaiyapuri.
