50 साल बाद लौटेगी ‘शोले’ की असली कहानी, ठाकुर के हाथों होगा गब्बर का अंत, गूंजेगी जय-वीरू गूंज

New Delhi. ‘Sholay’ (1975), the most iconic film in the history of Indian cinema, is once again in the headlines. This time the reason for this is the end that the audience has never seen on the big screen. In fact, when director Ramesh Sippy made the film, he wanted Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) to be sentenced to his crimes by Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjay Kumar). But the distributors of that era put pressure on the end and Gabbar was handed over to the police.

Now after 50 years, the audience will get a chance to see the real and pre -shot climax of the film. The Indian Film Festival of Sydney (IFFS), to be held in Australia, has announced that this year’s centerpiece will have a 4K restord version of the film ‘Sholay’. This festival will be held from 9 to 11 October and the same end will be shown in which Thakur takes revenge for his family and ends Gabbar.

This unique project has been made possible by the film Heritage Foundation and Sippy Films. Sholay will now be revealed to the audience in its original 70mm grandeur, which will be a precious experience of cinematic history. In the restoration process, a rare color reversal print was found from London and camera negatives and long -lost deleted scenes were recovered from a Mumbai warehouse.

‘Sholay’ is considered the milestone of Indian cinema. Jai-Viru’s friendship, Thakur’s retaliation fire and Gabbar Singh’s villain made it a Calt classic. This is the reason why this film is still fresh in the memories of the audience.
