New Delhi: A few years ago, Amitabh Bachchan allegedly gave her daughter Shweta as a wait for her bungalow in Mumbai. They have this house since 1976; It was the first house bought with his wife Jaya Bachchan after becoming the biggest star in the country. Two -year -old Shweta also came here. Waiting, his brother Abhishek Bachchan married Aishwarya Rai. This bungalow located in Juhu is a popular tourist destination, where many Bollywood stars go there to get a glimpse of Big B before getting big success. This house has a different life of its own, but when Amitabh and Jaya came to live here for the first time, it was very different.

Amitabh went on waiting in 1976- Jaya
In one of her articles written in 2002 for India Today magazine, Jaya considered the success of Amitabh in the 70s and recalled her early memories of waiting. He wrote, ‘In 1976 we went to wait, which was his built house. We shifted even when there were no curtains or windows in it. Now, he had his own house, but he rarely used to be there. This was his busiest phase. Thinking whether his new stardom was overshadowing him.

However, in the same article, he wrote that Amitabh did not change to a great extent even after achieving great success. She further writes, ‘After Abhishek’s birth, Amitji and I tried to spend time together. He was now busy with big blockbuster films, but in the case of home he lived normal and unseedit who did not care that there are no windows in the house. He was increasing his confidence towards his work. He further recalled and said, ‘Meanwhile, I was getting far away from the film industry. They did not disclose their work at home and I did not know at all about how many films they are signing and working with. I avoided questioning him.

Amitabh had told the story of waiting in Kaun Banega Crorepati
Amitabh’s father, poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan kept the name of the house waiting. He shared this story in an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said, ‘Waiting is a very beautiful name. People ask me why we kept the name of the house waiting, and I tell them that I did not, my father had chosen. I asked him why he kept the name of the house waiting, and he wrote a poem, which has a line – ‘Welcome is for everyone, but no one should wait.’ With this, he had chosen the waiting name for his bungalow. The price of luxurious house is 50 crores.

Amitabh went to the bungalow with Aaradhya- Jaya
After the death of his parents, the Bachchan family went to a new bungalow called Jalsa, which is in the same premises. The wait remained closed for decades, but when Abhishek and Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya were born in 2007, they first brought her to wait. Bachchan wrote in his blog, ‘Today we have brought the daughter (Aaradhya) home. We are very happy Lakshmi has come to our house, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Bitiya are all healthy. Life changes when a new life comes in your house. I would say that Lakshmi Ratna has arrived in our house. We first took them waiting because it is our first home. After taking blessings from mother and Babuji, we have come to Jalsa.
