A drama in which true pictures of poverty, struggle and courage are hidden. In a new podcast, actor and filmmaker said that despite being from the film family, he did not get the benefit of nepotism. Aamir remembered that when he was younger, his family had to face financial difficulties.

Aamir Khan is in the news these days for his film ‘Stars Zameen Par’. They are promoting the film fiercely. Recently he arrived at Raj Shamani’s podcast, where he remembered his old days. He said, ‘Usually people think that the filmmaker has a lot of money. There is no truth in this. There were many economic problems in his house.

‘Locket’ came out a terrible crisis for the film family

Aamir mentioned those difficult 8 years when not a penny of earning in his house. The actor said that it was a matter of the 1970s. He was in a teenage state, when his father and producer Tahir Hussain’s film ‘Locket’ changed the fate of the family, this change brought not a positive, but brought a terrible crisis. The film which was to be made in a year remained incomplete for 8 years.

Line of creditors used to remain

The actor further said, there was no income in our house for 8 years. Abbazan had a loan at a huge interest of 36%. Creditors used to come to the door every day. This was the period when Aamir’s family had to struggle for two times of bread. The creditors continued to call for recovery of money, while no one else lended them to complete the pending shooting.

Used to buy shoes from prize money

In this difficult period, Aamir understood the responsibility in childhood. He used to play competitive tennis and give the winning prize money to his mother. Aamir said emotionally, “If he has to buy something for me, such as shoes or clothes, then he should buy with the same money.” The actor further said that by saying all this, I feel that I had become responsible from a very young age.

Aamir’s father was sure of his talk

Aamir revealed that despite deep debt, his father was a strong and firm person, whose qualities he had inherited from him. The actor said, ‘He was sure of his word. Once, he had delayed Sunil Dutt Saheb in paying the fees of the film ‘Wounded’, but gave him money as soon as the film was a hit. Aamir had learned this truth and responsibility from his father.

Filmmaking tricks learned from father

Aamir learned the most important lesson of filmmaking from his father. He said, ‘If you cannot tell the story of your film in one line, then it will not be a hit.’ Aamir later took this learning in films like ‘Dangal’, whose one-line love was ‘less than my fourth ends?’ Let us tell you that Aamir’s 2016 sports drama ‘Dangal’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, remains the highest -grossing Indian film at the global box office.

Tahir Hussain gave many hit films

Aamir’s father Tahir Hussain made films like 1971 crime thriller ‘Caravan’, Raghunath Jhalani’s 1973 romantic thriller ‘Anamika’ and Mahesh Bhatt’s 1993 romantic comedy ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke’, in which Aamir acted. He stepped into the direction with Aamir in 1990 with a fantasy rivers drama ‘Tum Mere Ho’. In 2010, he died of a heart attack.
