In this film, Paresh Rawal played the iconic character of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. However, Himesh did not directly mention the dispute between Paresh Rawal and Hera Ferry 3.

Reason for controversy over Hera Pheri 3
When Paresh Rawal decided to leave the project, he had a legal controversy with Akshay Kumar’s company ‘Cape of Good Films’. The production company allegedly prosecuted them Rs 25 crore. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal returned Rs 11 lakh as a signing fee, with the same 15 per cent annual interest. Paresh Rawal wrote on X soon after that his lawyer has responded to the controversy of his exit from Hera Pheri.

During the trailer launch event of ‘Housefull 5’, when Akshay Kumar was asked about his controversy with Paresh, he said, ‘I have been working with him for the last 30 years. I have been working with him for 32 years. we are very good friends. He is a great actor whom I really praise. I don’t think this is the right place to discuss it.
