Talking to Pinkvilla, Dino Moriya said that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Devdas’ was also released in 2002, but ‘Raj’ became a more profitable film at the box office. He said, ‘That film was a big hit. If you look that year, then it was also released. Shahrukh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas. But if we look at the figures, then how much we spent in our film and how much money did we earn and Devdas, our film was the biggest and highest -grossing film of that year.
The film received only two awards
He further said, ‘We received only two awards and nothing to sing. The songs of that film are the most famous and people still listen but the songs did not get any award. Whatever vows, songs like your love, did not get a single award. We received the new pair award, Bipasha and I received the Best Debut Award, but Raj’s songs did not get any award.
The film had earned 7 times more than the cost.
