Mumbai : Karisma Kapoor appeared in public for the first time after the death of ex -husband and industrialist Sanjay Kapoor. She left for Delhi with her children from a private airport in Mumbai, where she will attend Sanjay’s funeral. Karishma was accompanied by her daughter Samayra and son Kian. This was the first time that Karishma came in front of the media after the news of Sanjay’s death.
Arrangement of funeral amid legal bottlenecks
Sanjay Kapoor’s legal processes related to American citizenship were delayed in his funeral. The family resolved these complications and arranged for the funeral in this hour of mourning. The family united in this sad time and completed all the necessary tasks.
Prayer meeting organized
A prayer meeting will be held on 22 June at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi in memory of Sanjay Kapoor. The meeting will run from 4 to 5 pm and it will also include Sanjay’s mother Rani Surinder Kapoor, wife Priya, children, and Karishma Kapoor’s children. This event will be an opportunity to remember Sanjay’s life and contribution.

Sanjay Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor married
Sanjay Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor married in 2003. They have two children- Samaira (19 years) and Kian (13 years). In 2014, both of them applied for divorce by mutual consent, which was finalized in 2016. Sanjay later married Priya Sachdev in 2017, from whom he has a son – Azarius.
