श्रीलेखा मित्रा केस: हाईकोर्ट ने सोशल बायकॉट पर दी राहत

New Delhi: The Calcutta High Court has given great relief to Srilekha Mitra in the social boys case. The court has given strict instructions to the police and ordered the removal of the posters and banners of the boys located around their house. If an order of the court is disregarded, the petitioner can complain again to the court.

In fact, Bengali actress Srilekha Mitra took part in the protests against the murder against RG Kar Kar. Since then, he was constantly being targeted. From social media to social boys of the actress around her house, posters were installed. Due to this, the actress was getting mental harassment, due to which she filed a petition and appealed to such activities to protect herself.

Srilekha Mitra claimed in this petition that he was receiving threats on social media and an attempt is being made to make him socially. While hearing the case, on Thursday 11 October, the Calcutta High Court directed the police station to remove all the posters and banners around the actress’s house with the help of KMC. Not only this, if there is a post against them on social media, then it will also have to be removed. Meta Inc. and Google India have also been made parties in this case.

The court also said that if their order is disregarded, the petitioner can complain again in the court. In the case, the state government can file an affidavit till 24 November. This case will be listed in the monthly list of December. On August 9 this year, the actress took part in a protest rally on the first anniversary of the incident.
