शाहरुख खान को नेशनल अवॉर्ड मिलने पर मलयालम एक्ट्रेस ने उठाए सवाल, पूछा- SRK कैसे बन गए बेस्ट एक्टर?

New Delhi. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has recently received the National Award for Best Actor for Jawan film. Celebs from Bollywood to South Cinema congratulated this victory. Meanwhile, Malayalam actress Urvashi has questioned Shah Rukh’s award and also expressed her displeasure. Urvashi says that according to which it was decided that Shah Rukh Khan should get the Best Actor Award.

He clearly said, ‘Kuttatton (Vijayaraghavan) is an experienced artist. At least his special jury mandance was made. Urvashi also told an anecdote related to the film ‘Puqkalam’. He said that initially he was offered opposite rolls of Vijayaraghavan, but he turned down the role by saying that it would take a lot of hard work, which included more than nine hours of makeup every day.

He said, ‘I could not do this even after getting several crores of rupees, but Vijayaraghavan tolerated everything and gave a very dedicated performance. How can you call such a character a supporting role? ‘ His displeasure was not limited to personal awards, but he also raised questions about the neglect of Malayalam cinema.

Award no pension money

Urvashi said, ‘Why was the Best Actress award not shared this year? Is there a protocol? Is there a fixed standard? The awards should not be taken home quietly. This is not a pension money. If you are giving me something, then I should feel happy to find it. Even Urvashi appealed to Minister of State Suresh Gopi to investigate why Malayalam cinema was ignored.
