Mumbai. The case of 22 -year -old law student and Instagram Influenceer Sharmishtha Panoli, arrested for making a statement on ‘Operation Sindoor’, is getting caught up. After actress and MP Kangana Ranaut, now filmmaker and Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) President Ashok Pandit has come in support of Sharmistha. By sharing a picture of Sharmishtha Panoli on the stories section of Instagram, Ashok Pandit has appealed to the people to support him.

Ashok Pandit wrote, “Raise your voice, don’t leave it alone. Raise your voice. Because, it is a kind of participation to remain silent in front of the atrocities. Whenever you turn your eyes to the other side, the hunter remains in his claws and faster.

Earlier, angry with the arrest of Sharmishtha Panoli, Kangana Ranaut had given her response that it is wrong to destroy someone’s entire career due to a mistake. Kangana Ranaut also said that it is not right to harass someone in the name of ‘Law and Order’ when she has apologized for her mistake and removed the objectionable post.

Kangana Ranaut’s appeal to the Bengal government

Kangana Ranaut had said that it is not justified to destroy her entire career and character due to any one mistake. Such behavior should not be with any daughter. Along with this, Kangana appealed to the Government of Bengal not to make the state ‘North Korea’, but protect the constitutional rights of the people.

Kangana requested Mamata Banerjee to release Sharmistha as soon as possible in view of the young age and future, as it seems to be a conspiracy to ruin her entire life in a way, which cannot be supported.

Sharmishtha Panoli is in police custody till 13 June

Please tell that Sharmishtha was arrested by Gurugram by the police of Kolkata’s Gardenrich police station and presented in the city court of Kolkata on Saturday afternoon. After hearing in the case, the court sent him to judicial custody till 13 June. Actually, Sharmishtha Panoli shared a video on social media and questioned Bollywood’s silence on ‘Operation Sindoor’. It is alleged that during this time he made objectionable statements about the particular community and also used abusive language. After this, a complaint was lodged against him at the Gardenrich police station on 15 May.
