Yogesh Tripathi told that he had come to Mumbai to become an actor and then started working in the theater. However, his first Sabka railway from Mumbai city was due to railway exam, where he and his two other friends stood in General Compartment for 18 hours during a visit from Mumbai to Jhansi. Yogesh Tripathi continued to work strange to live in Mumbai for almost three years. He sold the pen for Rs 150. Worked as a background actor, for which he would get Rs 1500. Yogesh Tripathi received Rs 95 as the first salary. He received Rs 75 to work in the theater. When his first advertisement became popular in 2007, he got the first role offer in the TV show ‘FIR’. He then used to get a fee of Rs 2800 as an actor.

Yogesh Tripathi has come far ahead since then. He started his journey in 2015 with the TV show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’, in which his role Happu Singh became very popular. He would get 8 thousand rupees a day for that role. He would get 2-3 days of work at the beginning of the show. That is, they would have earned about 24000 rupees from the show. Yogesh Tripathi became so famous in the role of Happu Singh that the makers decided to produce a show based on his character in 2019.
