He worked as a major sound recordist in his music group for many hit films like ‘Kadalora Kavithagal’ composed by Ilaiyaraja.
For actor Karthik, the song ‘Vetthala Pota Shukkul’ in the film ‘Amarran’ brought a distinct identity. The music of the film ‘Amarran’, composed by Adityan, became very popular. Especially the song ‘Chandne Suryane’ was going to touch the heart. After this, his song ‘Oyila Padum Pattul …’ became famous in the film ‘Sewalappari Pandi’. The song ‘Kizhakku Sevakkaiil …’ was also classic in the same film.
The same film also attracted the song ‘Oyila Padum Pattule’. The film ‘Rosa Malre’ featured Hit songs in many films like ‘Alagovium’, ‘Lucky Man’, ‘Maman Magal’. He was accompanied by composer Harris Jayaraj. Adityan’s last music came in the film ‘Kovalapatti Veeralakshmi’ in 2003. After this he did not give music.
Adityan’s last film was Kovilapatti Veeralakshmi (2003). After this, he made a distance from the film world. Three years ago, singer Harris Raghavendra shared an anecdote. He had said, I immediately reached his house after hearing the news of Adityan’s death. But after going there, it came to know that they had changed the house. It was told that he lived in Mukhper. There was garland in narrow streets. A group stood there. The people there were watching me with strange eyes. I did not understand anything. I thought I have probably come to the wrong place. Asked the people there ‘Sar Adityan’. Yes, this is their home. He is dead.
He further said- ‘The people there asked me,’ Sir, why have you come? ‘ Then he told that no one came from the film industry. I was very surprised. Not a single person came. You are the first person, the people there said. This was a big shock for me. I am not blaming anyone. I just shared my experience.
