HT City asked Sunny Deol if they support Fawad’s Bollywood comeback? On this, the star said that he has no problem with Pakistani actor working in India. The teaser of Fawad Khan’s film ‘Abir Gulal’ has been released which will be released in theaters on 9 May. Controversy over Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback
Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) opposed the release of Fawad Khan’s film ‘Abir Gulal’ on 2 April. Now Sunny Deol’s statement is drawing attention. The film is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Indian Stories, A. Richar Lens and RJ Pictures. Vani Kapoor will be seen opposite Fawad Khan in the film.
Pakistan’s entry of artists was banned
There has been a ban on the entry of Pakistani artists in India since 2016 due to political controversies, although the Bombay High Court rejected the petition to officially ban them in 2023. However, there is still tension about Pakistani stars working in India. Fawad Khan made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film ‘Beautiful’, in which Sonam Kapoor was seen with her. He played a lead role in Shakun Batra’s film ‘Kapoor and Sons’ in 2016. He also did a cameo in Karan Johar’s directed film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in the same year. Sunny Deol’s film Jat 10 is releasing in theaters today.
