New Delhi. Aamir Khan’s film ‘Rang De Basanti’ was released in the year 2006. It is one of the most liked films of Bollywood. Recently, Randeep Hooda told that director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra approached him for a role in ‘Rang De Basanti’. However, he turned down the offer. Randeep Hooda admitted that he regretted losing this opportunity. If he had worked in the film, his career would have been at a different level.
On Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Randeep Hooda told that he got the role of Bhagat Singh in ‘Rang De Basanti’ which was played by Siddharth. He said, ‘If I had worked in Rang Basanti, it would have come in a separate league. I auditioned and I liked it. Rakesh Omprakash Mehra used to come to meet me. Sometimes drunk drunk and said that do it, do the picture. Then I used to ask them to drive a safe drive.
