New Delhi: Actress Anupama Parmeswaran recently spoke openly about staying away from Malayalam cinema for a long time. Discussing criticisms about her acting skills, Anupama told how director Praveen Narayanan showed her trust in her despite all the noise. It is known that Parameswaran is playing the lead role in Narayanan’s upcoming film ‘Janaki vs State of Kerala’.
The director trusted despite trolls
During the film’s audio launch in Kochi on 16 June, the actress shared her views about dealing with trolling and working with Narayanan. He said, ‘Many people have trolled me, saying that I cannot act.’ The actress said, ‘Despite all these things, the director of this film (Praveen Narayanan) cast me as the lead role. There is a heart in this film and he is Janaki, and thank you for handing it to him.
