The starcast of this film also includes stars like Prabhas, Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar. Recently, Vishnu Manchu told an interesting anecdote related to the film. He told that Mohanlal and Prabhas are fees in crores, but they did not take even one rupee for ‘Kannappa’.

In an interview given to the screen, Vishnu Manchu said, ‘Two people made a huge contribution to this film, Mohanlal and Prabhas. Mohanlal is a very big superstar, he did not need to do a small role in my film, but due to his love and respect for my father, he said yes in less than a minute without any hesitation to do this role.

Prabhas did not even ask about the role

He further said, ‘Prabhas is others. He is my very good friend. He is not only India, but one of the biggest stars in Asia. They also had no need to do this roll. But when I told him that I needed him to increase the reach of my film, he immediately agreed. He did not even ask what his role will be in the film.
