New Delhi: Telugu theater and film actor GV Babu died on May 25, 2025. He succumbed while undergoing treatment at Warangal, Telangana. It is being told that he was troubled by the health problems related to age for a long time. He could not recover and said goodbye to this world.
The news of his death was confirmed by Venu Yeldandi, director of Balgam, on social media. Talking about Babu, Venu wrote on X, “GV Babu is no longer among us. He dedicated his entire life to theater. In the last days, I got the privilege of presenting him through mucus.
GV Babu’s functioning
Babu was last seen in Balgam (2023), a poignant family drama. The film was the first film under the direction of Yeldandi, in which Babu played a supporting role which touched the hearts of the audience. The story revolves around the death of Komuraiya, the elderly of the village, the death of the family emerges with the family.
