In an interview to Vicky Lalwani, Manoj Kumar’s brother Manish Goswami said that Shah Rukh and Farah had made fun of him in his film Om Shanti Om. In the film, Farah put a scene of copying Manoj Kumar by Shahrukh’s character, which was for laughter. When Manoj Kumar saw that scene, he did not like it at all and he was angry with him.

Manish Goswami told that Farah and Shah Rukh had come to apologize and this meeting was done by YRF’s producer Yash Chopra. He was the one who celebrated Manoj and Shah Rukh-Faha again apologized. Sharing about this story, Manish Goswami said:

Manoj Kumar told him that I do not want any money. I just want a defamation of one rupee. All of them came and the matter was resolved by sitting. Yash Chopra Saheb played an important role in this. Shahrukh and Farah came home and apologized.

Regarding the time of the release of Om Shanti Om in 2007, Manish said, “He was very upset with all these things. He was very clear. He is best aware of what he did and the whole country also agreed. It was very good for all of them to come and apologize. Now things are resolved.”
