Mumbai. Manoj Kumar died on 4 April and on 5 April, the funeral was performed with law and state honors. Many Bollywood celebs, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Salim Khan, Subhash Ghai, Rajpal Yadav, Anu Malik, Zayed Khan, reached the crematorium and gave him a final farewell and prayed for the peace of his soul. During this, celebs’ eyes looked moist. Amitabh shared an unseen picture in his blog and remembered Manoj Kumar and expressed grief.

Manoj Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan acted in only one film. The blockbuster film, which came in the year 1974, is named ‘Roti Tapa Aur Ghun’. This film was directed and produced by Manoj Kumar. In the film, Amitabh played his younger brother. The film was a blockbuster, but the two never worked together again.

Let me tell you, Manoj Kumar was 87 years old. In July this year, he would turn 88 years old. He gave many hits and blockbuster films including ‘Upkar’, ‘Kranti’, ‘Shor’, ‘Das Nambari’. He also directed many films. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1992 for making a significant contribution in films and in 2016 he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
