The situation happened that Madhubala got married with actor-singer Kishore Kumar. By the year 1969, he became his wife and then said goodbye to this world. But Kishore Kumar’s statement till date has not forgotten when he said that he had never loved Madhubala.

Madhubala, which life gave so much pain. Could not be destined till true love. Even her husband did not love him? Madhubala’s sister herself had told in an interview that how the doctors had clearly told Madhubala that she can neither make physical relations nor produce children.

In an interview to Illustrated Weekly of India, Kishore Kumar had told that when he was getting married, he knew that Madhubala was not well. He is very ill. But he fulfilled his promise and married. He said, ‘I have seen them dying in front of my eyes. Even the doctors had said that they are not right and just take care of them.

Madhubala was struggling with heart disease, which he had hidden from people. In the year 1969, his health started deteriorating. He had jaundice and hematuria. He died of a heart attack on 23 February. Madhubala’s sister Madhur Bhushan has talked about the last days of Madhubala.

In this interview, he had said, ‘At the time of marriage, I knew that Madhubala is very ill. But I remembered my promise and fulfilled my words. I brought them home as my wife. I also knew that she was struggling with heart disease. She was suffering from this disease for 9 years.

‘I also kept a nurse for him. I have seen them dying in front of my eyes. You cannot understand until all this has passed with you. She was a very beautiful woman but was going through a painful moment. She was so desperate that she used to scream only.

Kishore Kumar had told that Madhubala started working at a young age. If a person who works day and night and has to stay in bed for so many years, then it is natural that he will become irritable and desperate. Kishore Kumar had said that he only took care of him. Sometimes he used to cry with him and sometimes he used to laugh.

In another interview given to Filmfare, Kishore Kumar reacted with his wife’s condition and love. Kishore Kumar had revealed that he did not love Madhubala but proposed by the actress.

Kishore Kumar said, ‘For me she was my friend Dilip Kumar’s girlfriend. He was the one who proposed to me for marriage and also insisted. Then a coincidence was that when Ruma (Kishore Kumar’s first wife) was with me, Madhubala never leave her or else I will take your place.

His sister Madhur Bhushan had a conversation in the interview given to Filmfare regarding Madhubala’s condition. He had told that after marriage with Madhubala, Kishore Kumar took him to London for treatment. The doctors then told that Madhubala’s heart is completely dead. She will be able to live only two years.

Madhubala’s sister had accused Kishore Kumar that Kishore Kumar later left Madhubala at his father’s house. He had to do a lot of work he had to travel, in the end Madhubala was at her own father’s house.

At the same time, Kishore Kumar had said that he did everything for Madhubala. He took him to London, but if the doctors responded, then what is his fault in it. Madhubala’s sister had told that the doctors had clearly told Madhubala that she can neither have sex nor had children.

According to Madhubala’s sister, Kishore Kumar would come to meet Madhubala once in three months. Kishore used to say that when he comes, Madhu cries and she is not good for her heart. At the age of just 36, Madhubala said goodbye to this world in the year 1969 with such a rage.
