Vijay Anand first married Lavalin Thadani. At that time Vijay was making a bold romantic film ‘Jaan Hazir Hai’ with Billin Premnath’s son Prem Kishan and Shekhar Kapoor. Lavalin was in the lead role. Lavalin later fell in love with Vijay. Both of them started going to Osho Rajneesh’s Pune Ashram. It was Lavalin who proposed marriage to Vijay and left the lead road of Jaan Hajir Hai.
