Director Amit Rai spoke openly about the third installment of the film. He said, ‘His next part will come soon, but it will be bigger than that you have seen so far.’ He also informed that Akshay Kumar will be part of OMG 3. He said- ‘He will be, because he is the producer of the film. Work on the film is going on and it will be released next year.
The second part of the franchise came in the year 2023
‘OMG’ 2 was the sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2012 film ‘Oh My God’. In this, Akshay played the role of Lord Shiva’s messenger. Pankaj Tripathi was also a part of ‘OMG 2’. In the film, Akshay Kumar is seen from time to time and helps Pankaj Tripathi, who is fighting a court case based on sex education.
Work done like creative producer
Earlier, during a conversation with ANI, director Amit Rai had told how deep Akshay Kumar was involved in filmmaking and how his advice helped to avoid criticisms about some scenes. He said, ‘From listening to other artists in an entertaining way to listen to all the scenes, Akshay Sir OMG 2 was included as an actor and a maker. He acted like a creative producer.
Akshay Kumar’s advice worked in shooting
Amit Rai further said, ‘He also improved many scenes of the film. He suggested how some scenes can be changed slightly so that criticism can be avoided. Like in the masterbation scene, he told me that shoot it properly and said, that he will see later. I am very open about how to say my stories.
‘Jolly LLB 3’ will be released on this day
Talking about the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently in the news for his upcoming film ‘Jolly LLB 3’. In this, he will be seen sharing the screen with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla. The film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and this movie will knock in theaters on September 19, 2025.
