Recently, Shilpa Shirodkar spoke about the matter and told that the false rumors of her death were deliberately spread during the shooting of the 1995 film ‘Raghuveer’.

During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Shilpa Shirodkar recalled the time when she did not know about the rumors. After the release of ‘Bewafa Sanam’, rumors of his death started spreading. He said, ‘I was in Kullu Manali. My father was trying to call in the hotel, because at that time we did not have mobile phones. I was shooting there with Sunil Shetty. All the people watching the shooting there were wondering whether it is Shilpa or someone else because they had heard the news.

Shilpa further said, ‘When I came back to the room, there were about 20-25 missed calls. My parents were worried. There was a headline in a newspaper that Shilpa Shirodkar was shot. However, the film’s producer Gulshan Kumar later revealed that it was a technic to promote.

The actress further said, ‘When they told me, I thought it’s okay. Yes, it was a little more. At that time there was no PR activity or anything. I did not know. I was the last, which came to know that something like this was going to happen. At that time no one used to take permission. The film went well, so I was not angry.
