These dreaded villains, who have worked in 380 films, also came to become a hero in films, but luck made him a villain. This actor is none other than veteran actor Prem Chopra. Prem Chopra also wanted to become a hero like other actors. He also appeared as a hero in some films of Punjab, but Bollywood films which became heroes, they remained a flop. He started getting the role of Villain again instead of the hero. They were forced to play negative rolls.

Negative characters affect the brain
Rakita Nanda, wife of Prem Chopra’s eldest daughter and designer Rahul Nanda, told Patsey N in an interview in 2013 that when his father was a villain on the screen, how did his characters impress daughters. She told that when she was in school, her friends used to tell her about Papa’s films and he did not watch her films. Later, when he started watching his father’s films and when he saw Prem Chopra in a negative character, it affected his mind.

Daughters used to cry after seeing Papa dying in films
After watching some films in childhood, in which the father died finally. Prem Chopra’s elder daughter Rakita was very sad. Those films made her so depressed that she reached home crying, but when she found her father at the right house, she was relieved and returned happiness on her face.

Why don’t you become a taxi driver?
Rakita told that he used to suffer from seeing his father playing a villain or negative character again and again. To the extent that he once told his father, ‘Why don’t you become a taxi driver? We will live life honestly. He suggested this because a friend’s father in school used to run a taxi and he found that life more true and straight.

When Papa said- films have nothing to do with the truth
After this, Prem Chopra explained to the daughter with great love that what acting is and films have nothing to do with the truth. After this conversation, Rakita and his sisters never felt embarrassed by seeing any role of their father, but they started being proud of their father.
