Bollywood’s famous playback singer Kumar Sanu’s personal life is always in the news. Recently, several decades later, Kumar Sanu’s X wife Rita Bhattacharya spoke openly about her married with her.

Rita Bhattacharya alleged in an interview that when she was pregnant, Kumar Sanu and her family tortured her. He said that after the success of the film ‘Aashiqui’, Kumar Sanu’s behavior had completely changed.

Rita told that during pregnancy, Kumar Sanu did not give him food and did not let him go out of the house. He said that Kumar Sanu’s sister lived with her children and husband in her house and slept in the same room with Kumar Sanu, while Rita slept in another room with her children. He alleged that the two together tortured him.

Rita said, ‘He took me to court during my pregnancy. At that time, he also had a love affair, which has now surfaced. He dragged me to court. I was very young then and I felt that my whole world was broken. My family was also surprised. A year ago he had a big party and said that I am the reason behind his success.

Rita also claimed that when she was pregnant, Kumar Sanu did not give her food and locked the kitchen. He said that she used to buy a handful of rice from her relative’s house and make khichdi and then he used to eat food. He said that milk was also stopped for his children and he was given only 100 rupees daily. When she used to order food for the children, the shopkeeper used to say that she could not send it because she has been forbidden.

Rita also indicated that Kumar Sanu’s name was associated with actress Kunika Sadanand while being married. Kunika had admitted in Bigg Boss 19 that he had a relationship with a married man for six years. At the same time, his son Ayan Lal also described his relationship with Kumar Sanu as ‘toxic’.
