प्रसार भारती ने लॉन्च किया ‘वेव्स’ ओटीटी, ‘डेला बेला’ का प्रीमियर.

New Delhi. Prasar Bharati today launched a grand launch of her new OTT platform ‘Waves’ at Akashvani Bhawan, New Delhi. On this occasion, the feature film ‘Dela Bella: Badal Story’ also premiered, which is the story of a woman’s motivator and empowerment. The launch ceremony was attended by Navneet Kumar Sehgal, President of Prasar Bharati, Pragya Paliwal Gaur, Director General of All India Radio, director of the film Nilesh Jain and Starcast.

‘Waves’ is designed to bring Indian culture, entertainment and education on one platform. It is designed as’ entertainment for the family, which will give digital experience for audiences of all ages. There are more than 70 live TV channels available on this platform, including Doordarshan, AIR channels. It will be in more than 12 languages like Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada and Punjabi.

Viewers can watch classic serials like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Shaktimaan, Chhota Bheem for children, Tenali Rama and Ayodhya’s live broadcast of Aarti of Shri Ram Lala. ‘Dela Bella: Badalgi Kahani’ is directed by Nilesh Jain, who has presented the story of a woman who gets her dreams by breaking social bonds. ‘Waves’ features video-on-demand, digital radio, interactive games and online shopping with ONDC.

At the launch ceremony, Navneet Kumar Sehgal said, “Waves are a unique attempt to connect Indian culture with modern technology. Stories like ‘Dela Bella’ will give a new direction to the society and become a source of clean entertainment for the families.” He also emphasized on partnership with the National Creator Award winners and institutions like FTII, NFDC. ‘Waves’ also includes material based on social messages like cyber security awareness and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
