New Delhi: All Indian stars were honored by President Draupadi Murmu for special contribution in art. He gave 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 57 Padma Shri Awards at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday 28 April. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and many other ministers and persons were present on the occasion.
Dr. Lakshminarayan Subramaniam was awarded the Padma Vibhushan of Karnataka for his great contribution to art. Nandamuri Balakrishna of Andhra Pradesh, Shekhar Kapoor of Maharashtra, S. of Tamil Nadu. Ajit Kumar, and the late Pankaj Udhas (posthumously) of Maharashtra, were awarded the Padma Bhushan. Farida Pankaj Udhas, wife of late Pankaj Udhas, received the award on his behalf.
