Old singers and stars were considered a hit pair, so it was Rajesh Khanna and RD Burman. Both had very good bonding which lasted for years. However, Kishore Kumar also entered the pair again and then became the most prestigious and influential trio in the Bombay film industry.

Rajesh Khanna and RD Burman’s coloration was not based on a deep mutual honor, not a professional. Both respected each other a lot. Recently, singer Sudesh Bhosle told about the incident when Rajesh Khanna was provoked with RD Burman’s music.

Sudesh Bhosle said in a conversation with Radio Nasha, ‘Many years ago, Balu ji had organized a show called’ Ye Sham Mastani ‘in Hyderabad. All the artists were from South and I was invited to sing only Kishore Da songs from Mumbai. The chief guests were Rajesh Khanna and Gulzar Saheb. When Rajesh Khanna was called to honor the stage, Kaka said, ‘Don’t change the songs of the fifth.’

Real creators are not getting respect in the name of remix

The singer, who gave his voice to the song ‘Lal Dupapte Wali’, spoke on the Bollywood Remex songs. He said- ‘Today, remixes of old songs are being made a lot, but those who are real creators are not given any respect. Sudesh Bhosle also gave examples, he said, the remix of the song ‘Aankh Mare’ became very popular. He just told Viju Shah that we are taking this song. Viju Shah said- ‘Okay, at least give me credit.’ But the answer was received- ‘Can’t give because we have bought all the rights.’

Recalling another shocking incident, Sudesh said, ‘I was present in an award function myself, where Anandji and his wife were sitting next to me. At the same time, a music director was awarded for the song ‘Apna To Y-Taye’ on the stage, while the real composer Anandji was sitting there. He said, inspiration is not a bad thing, but it is also necessary to respect the one who gave birth to that song.
