The following year he married Zamey Ansted. He had a daughter Carrington. Subsequently, Bentley, who returned to acting and film direction, got divorced from his second wife. Bentley, who stopped acting in films in 2014 due to divorce, left Los Angeles and went to another city in search of solitude. One day in 2019, he received a call, in which he was told that his eldest daughter is hospitalized, and he was traveling around the hospital for many years, although the daughter died the next week. Meanwhile, Bentley, who had already retired from the film world, was even more shocked by his daughter’s death, during this time, Bentley’s next fiancé also left him, and he had to face the greatest embarrassment of his life. All this happened in two months, in disappointment, he thought about committing suicide.

But he has turned his attention to music and wrote and composed his own album. Bentley Micham, who has said that music has brought him back from the verge of suicide, has now stopped acting in films of full length and focusing on music.
