On the podcast of Kunika Sadanand, Jackie told that when Dev Anand offered him a role in his film Swami Dada, he was very happy. He said, ‘It happened that he offered me a second lead. I was unable to believe my eyes and ears that Dev Saheb is sitting in front of me. His son Sunil was also there. He told me that he (Dev Saheb) is an offer of the film. I went home and told my mother that I got a chance to become a second lead in the film. Everyone became happy in the entire locality that Jaggu became a hero.
