You will be surprised to know that Deepika Padukone had already worked for ‘Kalki 2’ for many days.

CNN-NEWS18 said in its report that Deepika Padukone had already done 20 days shooting for the sequel ie the second part during the shooting of the first installment of Prabhas’s film. A close source associated with film production said that Deepika had demanded a 25 percent increase in her fees, as she was sure that she would not be removed from the film. Especially when Kalki got a tremendous popularity after the release of 2898 AD.

Deepika wanted 25 percent more fees?

Source said, ‘Deepika Padukone demanded to increase the fees which was more than 25 percent. He felt that no one could replace him in the film. The real turn came at a time when his management handled the conversation, the makers did not like it. Deepika was fully aware that a sequel was being made and a strong character has been written for her.

Had already done 20 days of shooting

Source further said, in fact, he had completed shooting for about 20 days for the second part during the shooting of the first part, which has also been accepted by director Nag Ashwin himself in several media interviews. The shooting dates of the next schedule were to be decided by mutual consent, so the claim that is being claimed is no basis for the date clash.
